Consulting and Technical Advice in Spatial Data Management under ArcSDE and ORACLE for the City of Aargau, Switzerland (2001-2004)

GISCON supports the Aargau city since 2001 in the migration of their file-based spatial data holdings into central data management under ORACLE and ArcSDE. Pilot project plans, terms of references, automatic backup processes, users management, applications migration, database design and data migrations are realized through several consulting sessions. In addition, the staff of the city was trained on the data modeling and data management using ArcGIS and ArcSDE by GISCON certified instructors.

Utilization of ArcGIS for Daimler Chrysler, Germany (2004)

A set of intensive consulting sessions was carried out by GISCON specialized staff for Daimler Chrysler to customize and utilize ArcGIS to support their customer relation as well as marketing applications. This also included a set of training sessions on ArcGIS programming.

Comprehensive Concept for the Munich II Airport Area, Germany (1994)

A spatial analysis task was carried out by GISCON for the administration authority of Munich II Airport to support the space planning process of the new Airport. Among others, a noise analysis study was conducted to ensure lowest noise levels during flights take-off and landing.
