Spatial data infrastructure (SDI)
All spatial data required for GIS analysis and processing should be made available quickly and efficiently, regardless of the format in which they exist and from which they originate. This is to be fulfilled through spatial data infrastructure (SDI), which involves the creation of framework of policies, standards, methods and tools that enables efficient sharing of existing data, services and resources.
Merging different content, methods and tools can only work well, if use is made of internationally available standards such as the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) (http://www.opengeospatial.org).
GISCON Consultants possess a solid experience in the planning, design and development of SDIs on various levels; from local enterprise systems up to national and regional SDI.
