Company Brochure In this project, GISCON supported the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR), Hanover, Germany in the design and development of a “GIS Management System” for the “Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)” project in Yemen. Specifically, GISCON consultant’s role was to improve the knowledge of the Yemeni staff in using and customizing ArcGIS through intensive on-the-job training, to develop and design a GIS application (IWRM Information System) and to install and integrate the user interface developed by the BGR for the generation and production of thematic maps. The project was realized through consultation sessions with the BGR in Hanover as well as at the project premises in Yemen.
